Rev. Molly FraserThe Pastor of Gig Harbor United Methodist Church and brings a deep commitment to joy, courage, and compassion in church life. Her faith was shaped by five years in an inner-city intentional community emphasizing discernment, diversity, and creativity; she previously taught middle school choir and incorporates varied learning styles into her teaching.
CLASH: When Values CollideExplore the internal conflicts that arise when personal values clash with each other, even as we strive to live out our most important ones as Christians. It addresses how to navigate these tensions with integrity, avoid falling into habit, and follow God amid the clashes through sermons, worship, reflection in small groups, and value-exploration sessions.

You’ve heard it asked: “What’s in a name?” For us, a better description of what awaits our campers during our week. For many, when they hear the word, “camp”, they envision roughing it with tents, or bunkbeds, with KP duty and panty raids – words that don’t describe our gathering. The word, RETREAT, on the other hand, suggests comfort, sanctuary, den, resort – basically a land cruise. That fits our camp (and Seabeck) to a tee.

Our Seabeck Council, after receiving many ideas from our campers, have decided to rename our summer week, SEABECK CHRISTIAN FAMILY RETREAT (effective immediately). Spread the word! For comfort in housing, food served (and no KP), a historical and beautiful location, music, worship, fun and laughter, sharing, fellowship, surprises, free time, and more – for all types of family or singles – we are Seabeck Christian Family Retreat.
